Michael and Jill Gallina. A fabulous one-act musical telling the story of Johann Sebastian Bach’s life through rhyming script and narration. All the melodies are adaptations of Bach’s well-known compositions and the whole makes a starting point for project work. There are several puns based on musical expressions, as well as many witty plays on the word ‘Bach’. J S Bach has several speaking lines and some solo singing. There are very small speaking parts for two members of Bach’s family plus 16 or more other characters. Any number can be in the chorus who may sing all the songs if desired.
